33rd Birthday Celebration!

This past week has been a crazy one. There were some late nights at the office trying to finalize drawings for a cancer center I have been working on over the past few months. The project went to bid on Thursday, just in time to celebrate my 33rd birthday. I started this double digit year with a glass a wine and dinner at my new favorite little place, Mona’s.

MAME

On Saturday night, I invited Melissa, Robert, and Doug over for dinner and drinks before we headed downtown to the 5th Avenue Theater to watch Mame. I was so looking forward to going to the theater; it has been a long time, in fact, I am pretty sure the last show I saw was Sweet Charity on my 30th birthday! Here is a little synopsis for the musical:

An eccentric socialite in the Roaring '20s finds her madcap Manhattan lifestyle turned upside down when she is appointed guardian of her orphaned nephew. Auntie Mame takes him on one whirlwind adventure after another, proving that "life is a banquet."

So...I guess I forgot to mention it, but I loved the show!!

I know it has been awhile since my last post….but I actually have some interesting “stuff” going on in the next couple of weeks…..stay tuned!

Band Meme

Here's a Meme from my sister's Tammy and Jill.
Through a random search, you come up with your bands name, the title of your album and the album cover photo. You can't keep refreshing the link. Ya gotta work with what you get. :) Let's make a band:
1. Click here. The first article title is the name of your band.
2. Click here. The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. Click here. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Take your photo, add the band name and title, then post it.
Here's what I got out of the mix:

Name of my Band: The Italian Minister of Health
Album Title: At a Friendly level
Album Cover looks like this:
