Wine Tasting

Over Labor Day weekend, I traveled to Oregon to do a little wine tasting with some friends.

After a very long ride to Tacoma, we hit the open road, well, that is until we got to Olympia and more holiday weekend traffic! We did finally make it to our first stop, Salem.

On Saturday, I think we were all a little concerned with our little wine tasting weekend, when the first two wineries we planned to stop at were closed. But thankfully, Bethel Heights was open. What a great view!

The next few wineries were also opening and I think all of out debit cards were definitely feeling a little used!

We visited six wineries on Saturday, and let me tell you, we were all exhausted! We had dinner reservations in Portland, but after a little nap at the hotel, we opted for pizza and a movie in our room (wow, we are getting old!)

Sunday was pretty low key. We did a little shopping in Portland and then went to Edgefield for our last stop on our fantastic Labor Day weekend.
